Paul was born October 8, 1970 in Tulsa, OK to Paul and Shirley Reed. Due to his health needs, Paul became a resident of the Lubbock State Supported Living Center in 1980. Paul graduated from the last graduating class of Dunbar High School in 1993. He loved music, food, pulling pranks on others and especially loved to laugh.
Loved ones include his mother, Shirley Reed; sister, Caroline Reed and husband, Wayne Smith; brother, Dewey Johnston; nieces, Dora Hernandez, Amanda Benoit, Krystal Johnston; nephews, Justin Johnston, Joshua Reed, Hunter Johnston and Daniel Johnston; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Paul Reed and brother, Scott Johnston.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. A celebration of his life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Wayne Moore officiating. Please celebrate the life of Paul by visiting www.sandersfuneralhome.com. A webcast of services will be available as well as our online guest book.
In death Andy became a hero through organ donation, while he could not be whole in his life he made others whole in his passing!

I remember Andy from when I taught at Dunbar High School, just out of college, in the `90s. He was a sweet person, surrounded by a supportive community while there. My deepest condolences in this loss.
