Paul Russo, 93 years of Brighton, Michigan passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026.

He was born to the late Emmanuele & Antonina Russo, September 2, 1932. Paul graduated from Cass Tech High School in Detroit in 1951 and attended Wayne State University. He married his love, Rose Marie Oirathy in 1953 and lived in Livonia and Troy before relocating to Brighton, MI. He was a Mountain Climber & Skier with the U.S. Army at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. He was a hard-charging engineering and operations executive for Chrysler Corporation for 32 years, retiring as Executive Director Manufacturing Engineering. Upon retirement he founded Industrial Advisors of America, an engineering firm in Troy, MI. He was a driving force in his children's upbringing, instilling a strong work ethic and integrity.

He was an active and loving father to William (Linda), Ronald (Nancy), Deborah (Stan) Weeks, Steve and Gary (Debbie). Proud grandfather to Rachael (Adam), Jason (Lori), Lauren (Adam), Danielle (AJ), Patrick, Mary (Aaron), Briana and Samantha (John). Jubilant great-grandfather to Olivia, Luca, Isabella, Rose and John William. He was brother to the late Joseph (Leona), John, Antonia (Mario) Molinari; survived by Lee Sanders and Jackie Russo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

A viewing will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home at 600 East Main St., Brighton, MI on Tuesday, February 10, 4-8 pm and Wednesday, February 11, 3-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton, MI on Thursday, February 12 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Fr. Mathias officiating. Private family interment to follow.
