He was preceded in death by his mother Mary L. Sanders and his grandparents.
Paul leaves behind his wife; Angela Sanders, three children; Myriah (Travis), Sarah (Shairric), Paula, seven grandkids; his dad; Paul Sanders (Rebecca), he also leaves his brothers and sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Family of Paul M. Sanders would like to sincerely thank the staff at UNC Johnston-Clayton and SECU Hospice House Smithfield for the care provided to Paul during his illness. We would also like to thank all of you for your calls, cards and other expressions of sympathy during our grieving period. The Family of Paul Maurice Sanders.
Memorial Services: Saturday October 19, 2024, at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel 302 S. Brightleaf Blvd Smithfield, NC 27577 starting at 12:00 noon.

He was my best friend, always gave great life advice, and always made time to talk when I needed a friend. He encouraged me to make amends with my family and to remember that family is precious.

I loved his laugh, he would cook for his guys, for the holidays . He would bring us plates to dispatch´s. He will be missed.
