Sarra, Paul Arthur, 72, Mount Union, passed away Wednesday August 27, 2025, at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation, Lewistown. Born January 16, 1953, Huntingdon, son of the late Dominic and Martha (Taylor) Sarra. Survived by a sister, Arla G. Kent; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by siblings, Sam Sarra, Sue Lear, and Nancy Smyer. Mr. Sarra was of the Orthodox faith. He graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1971. Mr. Sarra worked construction for many years before retiring from Bonney Forge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting arrowheads, and attending Mount Union sporting events. Mr. Sarra also had a soft spot for animals and loved his cats. Family and friends will be received on Friday September 5, 2025, for a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12 p.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment to be at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Huntingdon County Humane Society in Paul’s memory, 11371 School House Hollow Rd, Huntingdon, PA 16652. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley Street, Mount Union, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care TM.” Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com.
