Born in Newark, he lived most of his life in North Arlington. He was an operator engineer/heavy equipment mechanic for Union Local 825. He loved riding and working on his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Wayne enjoyed hunting, crabbing, fishing, and spending time outside in the sun.
He was a avid landscaper. His favorite pastime was spending time and celebrating with family and friends. His warm and loving presence will be greatly missed.
Devoted Father of Anthony & Wayne Sarra. Beloved Puggle Grant. Loving brother of Darlene & Tom Caputo, Darryl Sarra, Glen & Yolanda Sarra. Uncle of Charlie, Darryl, Tyler, & Trevor.
Predeceased by his wife Rosanne Sarra & mother in law Andrea Palazzolo, his parents Lou & Dolores Sarra.
Relatives and friends are invited to the O'Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad Street. Bloomfield for visitation on Tuesday from 9-11 am . There will be a service at the funeral home Immediately following visitation. Interment Glendale cemetery, Bloomfield.
