Paul Westbrook Schramm

Paul Westbrook Schramm, 96, of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 13, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1929, in Barberton, Ohio, to Neely Wesley Schramm and Mary Drusilla Schramm.

Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Marjorie Schramm; his parents, Neely and Mary Schramm; his sister, Phyllis Runkle; his brother, Carlton Schramm; and his grandson, Tim Fox.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy Clifton, and husband, Wesley; his sons, Lee and John Schramm; his brother, Allen Schramm and wife, Maggie; his grandson, Stephen Fox, along with two great-grandchildren, Braeden and Tristan Fox.

Paul was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a faithful member of Southbelt Church. He was a proud graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in chemical engineering. He had a long career as an engineer at several chemical plants in the Houston area and also in Clinton, Iowa.

After returning from Iowa he was a long-term Southbelt resident for over fifty years. After retiring from engineering he went on to have a successful real estate career and earned his brokers license. After retiring from real estate he had a small tax preparation business. Paul was an avid fan of the Houston Astros and rarely missed a game. He and his wife, Marjorie, enjoyed extensive traveling and cruising.

There will be a visitation from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will be at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Crowder Funeral Home, Pearland, with Pastor Kevin Rizer officiating. A Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.

Pallbearers serving will be Danny Coleman, Steve Coleman, Larry Way, Wes Clifton, Stephen Fox, and Lee Schramm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to donate to any charity of your choosing in Paul's name.
