Paul E. Scribner, 85, died Friday, November 28, 2025 at OSU Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Paul was born on October 2, 1940 and graduated when he was 17 from Galion High School. He worked at Stratbury and North Electric before going into the United States Army. While serving in the Army Paul met and married Patricia Smires of Mount Holly, New Jersey. They had 3 children before Paul moved to Kissimmee, Florida where Paul worked at Disney World until the age of 72. Paul enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and many friends in Ohio and Florida. Paul attended the Assembly of God Church in Galion, Ohio.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Lewis (formerly of Crestline) and Samuel Scribner. He had seven siblings of which two sisters preceded him in death and he was also preceded in death by his ex-wife, Patricia Ann Scribner.
Paul is survived by three sons, Paul Glenn of Mansfield and David and Chad of Galion; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Aleasha, Blake, Bryce, Danica, Lakota, Kobe and Kion; many great grandchildren he enjoyed spending time with as well as several nieces and nephews.
Paul requested to be cremated with no service, and he will be buried at a later date. If desired, donations can be made payable to a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted through Wise Funeral Service at 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
