Paul Crawford Small

Paul Crawford Small, age 93, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Paul was a man of quiet strength and enduring character. Strong-willed and thoughtful, he didn't need many words to make an impression; those who knew him felt it.

He spent his career as a car salesman, a profession well suited to his knowledge and integrity. Paul loved sports and had an uncanny ability to recall stats and scores. If you could talk sports you were an instant friend-especially if you were a Braves fan. He also loved to read and found comfort listening to Elvis hymns. Paul cherished traveling with his beloved wife, Jo, and those years together remained among his most treasured memories.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Jo Small, who passed in 2019; his first wife, Loretta Jordan Small; his children, Michael Jordan Small, and Teresa Rodgers; and his great-grandson, T. W. Montgomery.

He is survived by his children-Annette Williams, Lisa Walker (Ray), Norma Ligon (Tommy), Paula Austin (Kevin), and Robert Weaver; his son-in-law Nathan Rodgers, Sr.; his grandchildren-AJ Austin (Mona), Amy Graham (Will), Angela Montgomery (Chris), Brooke Edwards (Denny), Cristi Root (Tristan), Jordan Ligon (Schuyler), Leighanne Louthan (Tim), Matt Weaver (Alli), Nathan Rodgers, Jr. (Meghan), and Terry "Bo" Williams, Jr. (Holly); and eleven great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
