Barbara Leroy Moore

Rock Hill, SC - Barbara Leroy Moore, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Barbara was born in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Paul Leroy Cherry and Catherine Knott Young. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Eugene Moore, as well as her grandchildren Stephen, Patty, Christopher, and Phillip.

Barbara found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. As a devoted military wife, Barbara built a home wherever duty called, offering stability and love through every move and every separation. She was a fierce and loyal protector of her family, always standing up for those she loved. She enjoyed sewing, reading, doing puzzles, and playing games with those she loved. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where her quiet devotion was felt in countless ways. She believed in doing hard things and never giving up on family. Her legacy lives on in the strength of her daughters, the laughter of her grandchildren, and the values she instilled.

She is survived by her daughters: Tracey Phenix (Claude), Susan Titus (Sam), Julie Jones (Danny), and Frannie Munro (Tom); along with her grandchildren Sara, Billy, Adam, Ben, Caroline, Rebecca, Rachel, Sam, Shaun, Jacob, Cody, Katie, Kristen, Gavin, and Chase; and 23 cherished great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina, 29732.
