Paul "Buster" Smith

Paul Thomas "Buster" Smith Jr of Hattiesburg, MS completed his journey on earth on September 23, 2024.
Paul was born on June 1, 1955 to Mr. Paul Thomas Smith Sr and Mrs. Climmie Bufkin Smith in Hattiesburg, MS according to him in a flower pot.
Mr. Smith attended Earl Travillion Attendance Center during his elementary years. Upon entering high school, Mr. Smith attended school in Walnut Grove, MS where he completed school. After graduation Mr. Smith began working with Dosset Pontiac Company until he began his career with Grey Wolf Drilling Company (formally known as Murco Drilling). Mr. Smith worked his way up the ranks for 20 plus years to become a Tool Pusher position until his retirement.
Mr. Smith is proceeded in death by both parents (Mr. Paul and Cimmie Smith), his wife Mrs. Linda (Tunnie) Russell Smith, eldest sister Mrs. Carmelia Spriggs, his nephew Curtis Vickers (Dre), and great nephew Anthony Turner.
Mr. Paul Smith is survived by three children: Mr. Paul R. Smith of Walnut Grove, Ms. Tara (Lil Mek) LeFlore of Hattiesburg, and Tawana of Hattiesburg, MS. Mr. Smith is the grandfather of Jasmine Leflore, Rayven LeFlore, Cortez Smith, Tadrian LeFlore, Keante Smith, Amari Hill, Russell Thomas, Micah Hill, and Noah Hill. Mr. Smith is the great grandfather of Aiden LeFlore, Ace Leflore, Khai Hogan, Kahi'Lani Hogan, and Rae'lynn Smith.
Mr. Smith was the only son born to the union of his parents, Mr. Smith is survived by his sisters: Clime (Tina) Smith, Tommie Jean (Oscar) Trout, Joann (Harry) Hollingsworth, and Deborah Haralson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
