Mr. Sprock passed away on February 15, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

Paul was born on February 25, 1961 in Troy the son of Edward Raymond Sprock and Gertrude Mary Haarmann Sprock.

He is survived by his son; Andrew (Helen) Sprock of Vandalia, one brother; Mark (Karen) Sprock of Santa Fe, four sisters; Julie (David) Troesser of Rush Hill, Tina (Danny) Hubert of Bowling Green, Gina (Bruce) Kuda of Russellville and Amanda (Michael) McCurdy of Middletown, three grandchildren; Mason, Lydia, and Elijah, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Tim Sprock.

Paul was a lifetime resident of the area and was well known throughout the community for his strong work ethic and love of the land. Farming was not just his occupation, but his way of life. He took great pride in working the fields and caring for his farm, dedicating countless hours to the livelihood that sustained his family and community.

Outside of farming, Paul had a deep passion for truck pulling. The sport was very important to him and brought him many lasting friendships and memories over the years. He was a proud member of the ITPA (Illinois Tractor Pulling Association), the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association, NTPA (National Tractor Pullers Association), TPM, and Excalibur. Paul thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the truck pulling community and rarely missed an opportunity to attend or participate in an event. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family, who meant more to him than anything else.
