Beloved Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother
Age 84, of Little Canada, went home to Our Father at home with family by his side on January 23, 2026.
Preceded in death by treasured wife, Lura Lea Sprosty; parents, Lawrence and Rose Sprosty; and sisters, Dorothy and Laurette Sprosty.
Survived by daughter, Marsha Sprosty; sons, Lonnie (Alicia) Sprosty, Chris Sprosty, and Brian Sprosty; grandchildren, Rob (Jordan) Pasqualini, Mikaela (Deiver) Vargas, Noah (Katelyn) Sprosty, Jeremy Heikke, great-grandchildren, Elliana, Kylian, Luca, Camila, and Matteo; brothers, David (Karen) Sprosty, Ken Sprosty, and Pat (Barb) Sprosty; his caregivers/close friends, Evelyn Ohenhen and Victoria Nosun; and dog, Cookie "the little guy".
Paul was a lumberjack in Ely, and also worked for Univac and Roto Rooter while most of the years were with Slawik Properties. In addition to always having a full-time job, he owned and operated several residential and commercial properties. He could fix anything! He built the house in Little Canada himself for Lura.
Paul enjoyed fishing, camping at Voyager Village, trips to Grand Ole Opry for classic country music and many national parks, along with Catholic church every Sunday. He loved to play craps in Vegas at Sam’s Town. He was most happy dancing with Lura to live classic country music.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, February 3 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 380 E. Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Visitation 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. Interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery at a later date.
