Oh, Paul, my good friend. We went through boot camp together at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I was looking at my Timex watch just the other day, found in my drawer that you generously gave me during boot camp. It made me think of a wonderful person. You were a person that I would have loved to have been able to call my friend for life. God bless.

I met Paul at his `Serve to Win´ clinic at Longfellow in Wayland. He was immediately friendly, engaging and always quietly inspiring. He encouraged us relative hackers to play with more tenacity, through gentle encouragement and always a determined insistent stare. He made an impact with most of us and his clinic was fun to boot. Paul generously invited groups to Longwood to experience the famous grass courts where he had so much success. My condolences to his family, colleagues, and students. He will be missed.

Paul was a great man. He enjoyed life, loved his family, loved tennis and was able to share his love of tennis with others. I´m forever grateful that Paul was my tennis coach, and he also taught my kids. Rest in Peace. I hope you can play tennis in heaven. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

No one who knew Paul Sullivan at Longwood-and that includes nearly everyone-didn´t know what a special person he was. Certainly one of the club´s best players ever, he was also a humble, friendly leader who loved the game of tennis so much that he coordinated such an unique & very popular annual event as the "A players VS Over 70 Seniors" until his final season. No one but Paul could have pulled it off, or even had the spirit to try. He´ll be greatly missed & never forgotten.

My condolences to the Sullivan family. Paul was our neighbor growing up in Wayland. What a wonderful family to live next to. He helped light the spark to my, far more humble, tennis career giving me clothes and unlimited access to his lovely clay court. Very kind-hearted man.

"Trish, WHY are you rallying? HIT the ball !!" Boy will I miss those words and that Coach and that Selfless Man. What a generous Man. I first met him when I was 11 at an indoor court near Allandale Farm... I knew he was a special person, sort of a star. I learned so much from him and was always astonished by his level of patience. Quiet and optimistic. I will miss him very much. Longwood will not be the same.
I would like to extend my Deepest Sympathy to you kids. Todd, Seany, Court, Alina and Ricardo. You were blessed to have him as your Father. He will be with you forever.

I had the honor of getting to know Paul when our respective sons played AAU baseball together over a 7 year span. Paul was a great person and an amazing Dad. Our families spent some memorable times together at the baseball field and on national trips. My sincere condolences to Paul´s wonderful family. He will be missed
