It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Ellison Thomas, a beloved son, brother, and friend, on July 8, 2024. Born on June 14, 1983, to Robert and Janice (nee Bryan) Thomas in Chattanooga, TN. Paul will be remembered for his warm smile, friendly demeanor, and his ability to brighten any room he entered.
Paul is survived by his brothers Bob Thomas and Jim (Amy) Thomas; Dear uncle of Lauren Thomas; Cherished nephew of Ellis (Theresa) Wheeler. Paul is preceded in death by his sister Sarah Thomas-James.
Throughout his life, Paul touched many lives through his work at the Arbors of Milford, where he dedicated 21 years of service. His compassion extended beyond his workplace, as he volunteered with the Master Ministries Club and was actively involved in the First Baptist Church of Milford, where he participated in children's church, led services with his songs, occasionally preached, and served as an usher.
Paul's kindness also shone through in his role as the assistant head coach for the Milford Christian Academy basketball team, where he mentored and inspired many young athletes.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed activities such as bowling and taekwondo, where he achieved the rank of black belt. His boundless energy and enthusiasm were evident in everything he pursued, including his participation in the Special Olympics. Paul will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

I remember Paul when he was born and watched him grown into a wonderful young man, beginning at Highland Park Baptist Church, and continuing to exchange cards with him after he moved to Ohio. The last card I received from him was for Christmas 2023 with the sweetest note written by him. Love and prayers to the entire family. Love you very much. Sheila Wharram

I will always hold dear the special bond that Paul and my mother had. Paul would always go out of his way to say "hi" to mom. And Mom enjoyed celebrating special occasions with Paul; Christmas, birth days and his victories in life. Paul and Mom can now reunite and continue their special friendship.

Paul and I first met when I became the speech language pathologist at Milford Junior high... I had heard of Paul´s name through my fellow coworkers as to what a great guy he always was and how much I´d enjoy him. Paul will went on to live up to My coworkers´ compliments and all the other people who were blessed to know Paul and his loving parents... I had the honor of being with Paul throughout the years until he graduated from Milford high school...maybe even early Taekwondo lessons... And at the Meyer deli counter after Sunday church services with his parents... Paul will be definitely missed but always remembered for all the wonder and joy and happiness he brought to All of us ! With Deepest Sympathy and Deepest Love, KayCee Massett
