-----------------**Obituary for Janet Wethington**Janet Wethington, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on November 8, 1940, in Metamora, Indiana, Janet spent her life joyfully dedicated to her family and community.With a warm smile and a welcoming spirit, Janet was a true people person who lit up any room she entered. A proud graduate with a high school diploma, she made a meaningful contribution to her career as a film processor at Olan Mills. Her passion for connecting with others extended beyond her work; Janet cherished family gatherings, where she would whip up delicious meals that brought everyone together.Janet found immense joy in the company of her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, who knew her as their biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed reading biographies about famous people and keeping up with local news, always eager to share stories and engage in lively conversations. Alongside her husband, Earnie Wethington, they built a life filled with love and laughter.Janet is survived by her loving husband, Earnie; her daughter, Deborah Merrill; son, Vernon Roberts; daughter-in-law, Cindy Roberts; daughter, Karen Gentry; son-in-law, Dean Gentry; son, Keith Wethington; daughter-in-law, Jen Wethington;She has 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Each of them will carry forward the warmth and kindness that Janet exemplified throughout her life.Janet's loyal companion, dog Sammy, will miss her dearly, as will all who were fortunate to have known her.A visitation will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens on September 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 PM. Janet will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens, 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH 45150. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and celebrate a life rich with love, community, and cherished memories. Rest in peace, Janet.
