Paul Vasquez Obituary
Paul Joseph Vasquez, 28, of La Pryor passed away on September 23, 2024, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 1 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
He was born on July 30, 1996, in Willmar, Minnesota to Juanita (Quijano) and Leonard Vasquez.
He is survived by his parents of La Pryor; paternal grandparents, Hector and Paula Vasquez of Batesville; two daughters, Vivian Vasquez and Alison Sendejo, both of El Campo; son, Elijah Martinez of La Pryor; sister, Elisa Vasquez of La Pryor; four brothers, Leonard Vasquez, Jr., of La Pryor, John Vasquez of Andrews, James Vasquez of La Pryor, and Dareon Vasquez of La Pryor; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joel and Francisca Quijano; paternal grandmother, Helen Paz; brother, John Thomas Vasquez; and aunt, Viviana Quijano.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Vasquez, John Vasquez, James Vasquez, Dareon Vasquez, Thomas Camacho, Erik Martinez, Tonio Perez and Abrian De Leon Ortiz.
