Paul Vigil Obituary
Paul Narciso Vigil, age 78, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was born on December 13, 1947, in Cimarron New Mexico to his beloved parents, Genoveva Vigil (Leal) and Jesus Narciso Vigil.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating courage and dedication that remained a defining part of his life. He was a devoted husband to Marilyn Vigil and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished his family deeply.
He is survived by his children: Genevieve Vigil, Paula Vigil, Crystal Howell, Paul Vigil Jr., Samuel Vigil, Catherina Vigil, Angela Quintana, and Leonard Valdez, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus N. Vigil and Genoveva Vigil (Leal); his siblings, Carlos Vigil, Gilbert Vigil, Alfred Vigil, Bertha Harnke, and Nancy Vigil.
A committal service with full military honors will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area Red). A reception will immediately follow at the American Legion, 1901 N. Harlan St., Edgewater.
Paul will be remembered for his strength, service, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
