Paul graduated from high school in 1961 and went on to serve his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he demonstrated courage and dedication until his discharge in 1968. He then brought his skills to the role of a mechanic for IndyGo Transportation for several years before retiring with pride from FedEx in 2004.

A devoted member of the Morgan County Marine Corps League Detachment #1367 since 2009, along with the American Legion #103, Mooresville VFW Post #1111, and the Mooresville Eagles Lodge, he exemplified community spirit and loyalty. He cherished moments spent camping at Country Squires Lake, immersing himself in the world of western novels, and enjoying movies. His warmth and generosity were evident to all as he took on the beloved role of "Santa Claus" at Greenwood Park Mall, spreading joy to countless families.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 to 11 am on Friday, September 12th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
