Paul Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell Funeral Home - Beverly on Mar. 27, 2025.
Paul Henry Williams, Age 71 of Danvers, formerly of his hometown of Woburn, passed away suddenly on March 24th. His loss is completely unexpected, and his family is profoundly saddened. Paul was the son of the late Paul and Mary Williams of Woburn, the devoted partner of "the love of his life," Jennifer O'Brien of Danvers, and the cherished brother of Mary Marcia Williams Lord of Marblehead, Donna Toher of North Billerica, and Nancy Lynch of Florida. He was also the brother-in-law to Gregory Lord, Leonard Kearns, and Eugene G. Lynch. Paul was also the best uncle to seventeen nieces and nephews.
Paul grew up in Woburn, then attended Middlesex College, followed by working as a seafood manager at Stop and Shop until his retirement in 2017. As a child, Paul spent summers at York Beach in Maine. As an adult, Paul loved traveling to his timeshare in Hawaii and spending time snorkeling. He was an avid Boston sports fan; especially of the Boston Bruins. His interest included enjoying reading books and watching films and documentaries about World War II. He also spent leisure time fishing, as well as playing games, solving puzzles such as the daily Wordle, and spending time playing cards with Jenny and her aunts, Buffy and Terri. He enjoyed the holidays with his family, especially Christmas, and embraced his role as "Uncle Paul". He loved animals; especially his cats Beau and Milo. Paul was a gentle soul and will be remembered by his family and friends for his kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality.
Funeral Services for Paul will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to either the: Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or the MSPCA Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA 01970. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com
