Paul Williams Obituary

PAUL JAMES WILLIAMS Paul James Williams, 89 years old, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2025, with his family by his side after his battle with cancer. Paul was born in Southeast Missouri and moved to Columbia, Missouri and worked at the Safeway Grocery Store. Paul met his wife, Phyllis, 66 years ago during this time. Paul enrolled in Barber School in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon graduating from Barber School, he moved his family to Kansas City, Missouri. Paul worked at the Executive Barber Shop on the Plaza for 15 years. During this time, Paula and Phyllis purchased 20 acres in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Paul retired from the Barber Shop and began farming full-time until moving to Paola, Kansas, in 1984. Paul leaves his wife, Phyllis, daughter, Pamela (Paul) Wise, son, Perry (Shelby) Williams, grandchildren: Mitch (Lauren) Williams, Lance (Casey) Williams, Cheyenne (Justin) McGuire, Danielle (Jacob) Long, Parker Williams, Justin (Mikki) Wise, Jennifer Wise, and Clinton (Brooklynn) Wise. As well as 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Patrick. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Paola Event Center.

Larry met Paul about 15 years ago told him he kinda liked him., and been best buds since. You both have been the biggest inspiration in our lives. Whatever happened in our lives you and Paul were always there. During celebrations or other events. . Thank you both for showing us love,, comfort,,and friendship. We love you so very much
