Paula Marie Wojciechowski was born July 26th, 1963 to Dean and Sheila Wojciechowski in Greenbush, Minnesota.
Paula graduated high school in 1981 from Greenbush High School. She met Gene Clinton in 1980. In April of 1983, they welcomed daughter Sarah. On August 6th, 1983 they were united in marriage in Greenbush. They moved out to Glendive, Montana for a time, where Gene worked for a farmer and Paula stayed at home. While in Montana, they welcomed 2 more daughters Mandy in 1985 and Tash in 1986.
While Tash was a baby they moved back to the Lancaster area where they welcomed their 4th daughter Tiff in 1987.
Paula worked at REM in Roseau for many years, working overnights so that she was able to be home for the girls in the mornings and after school. The girls learned real quick that if mom was catching up on her sleep, you did not wake her up unless it was an emergency! After her time at REM, she went to work at Focus, Corp in Roseau. She loved her job and enjoyed the clients that she had. This job let Paula have the freedom to make it to all of the girls' sporting events, concerts or whatever else they had going on! You could always hear her getting excited during a good game!
In 2002, she got to start her most favorite part of life being a grandma! In May of that year Beau was born! Finally, a boy after raising 4 daughters! In 2003 Jazzy (Baby Girl) was born! These were the only two grandkids until 2008 when KylieJo was born and they just kept coming until Sawyer was born in 2019. Paula and Gene were blessed with 10 grandchildren! Just like she did with her daughters, you could find Paula at everything that her grandkids were involved in, cheering them on!
In 2014, Gene and Paula moved out to Gene's family farm that they had purchased from Gene's dad Raymond! She loved the peace and quiet out there! She took a job at Foxy Roxy's part time. Serving many cups of coffee to many local residents! She enjoyed daily dice games to see who would buy the coffee for the table! She, of course loved her coffee time with them and the many hours of visiting with everyone!
When she was not at the restaurant, you could find her out mowing her lawn, out riding on the ranger checking on the cows, checking on dad out in the tractor or even out in the tractor herself. There was grandkids out quite often as well! Paula and Gene often took evening drives with their beloved dog Paisley Marie. They loved to check out the country side and all the wildlife!
Paula passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on September 3rd, 2025 at the home she loved so much!
Paula was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Left to mourn her passing is her beloved husband of 42 years Gene, 4 daughters Sarah, Amanda (Bradley), Natasha (Shane) and Tiffany (Jordan). 10 beautiful grandchildren Beau, Jazzy, KylieJo, Peyton, Tatum, Brodix, Shelby, Aspynn, Autumn and Sawyer. Her mother Sheila, sister, Rhonda (Larry), brother, Keith (Dana), sister-in-laws, Cindy (Kelly), Nancy (Bob), Ruthann (Billy), brother-in-law, Jon (Jackie), many aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews. We can not forget the best friend that they didn't know they needed, Paisley Marie, the golden lab/retriever!
Paula was preceded in death by her father Dean, maternal grandparents Gertrude and Fred Smith, paternal grandparents, Harry and Hildegarde, mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Marilyn Clinton and a very special family friend, Eddie.
