Paula M. Corser, age 77, of Lyndonville, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Born on October 25, 1948, in Albion, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carol (Parker) Milliken, Jr. While Paula grew up in Albion, she spent most of her life in Lyndonville, New York, where she raised her family and made her home. She was a graduate of Albion High School and went on to further her education at The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing, earning her Registered Nurse diploma.
Dedicated to caring for others for over 50 years, Paula served in many nursing roles throughout her career. She began her nursing journey at the former Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital in Albion, spent many years caring for patients at Dr. Bell’s office in Lyndonville and at Goldsboro Orthopedics, and concluded her career as a Care Manager for Oak Orchard Community Health in Albion. Paula will be remembered by all who were touched by her kindness, patience, and generosity.
Outside of her career, Paula lived a life shaped by faith, generosity, and a deep love for her family. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, taking joy in their accomplishments, milestones, and everyday moments. Paula’s home was always a place of warmth, encouragement, and support, and she delighted in being present for birthdays, school events, sporting events, musicals, and family gatherings. Even when she couldn’t be inside an event, she would find a way to watch and cheer—sometimes from her car with binoculars—just to be there for her loved ones.
Her faith guided her life, and she expressed her love through quiet acts of kindness, giving of herself to help and encourage both family and community. Paula’s generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support created a legacy of love that will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children, Karin Corser, Scott (Patti) Corser, and Peter Corser; grandchildren, Meghan (Nicholas) Polansky, Natalie (Sullivan) Keller, Regina Corser, Justin (Novecia) Corser, Jacob (Carina) Corser, Kaley Corser, Sarah Corser, Tyler Corser, and Jerrica Lewis; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Dale (Lucy) Milliken; and several nieces and nephews.
