Paula Baldree Crye, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on December 22, 1943, in Cleveland, Tennessee, she spent her life dedicated to family, friendships, and her church. Paula enjoyed a fulfilling career in clerical positions with employers such as the Church of God Publishing House, Magic Chef, TVA, Maycor, and the City of Daytona, FL.
Paula shared a beautiful marriage of 61 years with her husband, Frank Crye, and was a cherished mother to her children, Marc and Julie. She was a proud and loving Mimi to her three grandchildren, Lindsay Taitague, Kiersten Crye, and Jacob Baker, as well as a great-Mimi to her great-grandson, Bennett Taitague. Paula truly celebrated every accomplishment and achievement of her family throughout all seasons of life.
A devoted member of the North Cleveland Church of God, Paula found joy in singing with the Crusader choir and connecting with her church family. She valued her friendships deeply, often gathering for lunches filled with laughter and engaging conversations. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Paula's family will gather to commemorate her life in a joyful celebration of her spirit, memories, and the countless moments shared together. Paula's loving presence will be profoundly missed, yet her memory will forever be held dear in the hearts of her family and friends.
Welcoming her to eternal rest are Paula's parents J.P. and Naomi Baldree, brothers Don Baldree, Jim Baldree, Terry Baldree and sister Marian Lawson.
Surviving family members include her spouse, Frank Crye; her children, Marc Crye and Julie (Brian) Baker; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Devin) Taitague, Jacob Baker, and Kiersten Crye; and her great-grandchild, Bennett Taitague.
