Paula Gibbs

Paula Gibbs of Georgetown, Delaware, departed this life on May 13, 2024, at Bay Health in Milford, Delaware at the age of 60. She was born on May 21, 1963 to the late George and Sudie Gibbs.
Paula attended the Woodbridge and Cape Henlopen school district in her early years and later graduated from James H. Groves in Georgetown, Delaware where she received her GED on June 7, 2021.
She worked and retired from the Stockley Center in Georgetown, Delaware after 25 years of service in 2019. Paula also worked part-time for the Quality Vending Service at Mountaire in Selbyville and Millsboro and Perdue Farms in Georgetown, Delaware.
She was a member of St. John 2nd Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Annie J. Custis. Paula enjoyed shopping, yard sales, trying different foods, sweets, getting her hair done, family time with her sisters and traveling with her side kick ride or die partner, Glenda. Paula was a very giving and caring person and willing to contribute her assistance to those in need.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, George and Sudie, her twin brother Paul, and four other brothers, Emerson, John, George Daniel and Pete.
She leaves to cherish memories: one son, Brian Reid, Jr. of Dover, DE, five sisters, Georgia Kelley of Millsboro, DE. Ruby (Don) Queer of Seaford, DE. Dorine Harmon of Ellendale, DE, Betty (Larry) Coverdale of Georgetown, DE. Mary Gibbs, of California, and Susie Gibbs of Bridgeville, DE; two brothers, Charles (Kaye) Gibbs of Bridgeville, DE and Ira Gibbs of Chesapeake, VA, one step-daughter, Sabrina (Donald) Isler of Laurel, DE, step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Taylor and Donnesha Isler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister cousin Glenda Bowden and other relatives.
