Paula René Moore, age 61 of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2024 at home surrounded by family. Paula was saved at a young age at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Sartain, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Barbara Moore. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dennis (Mope) Moore, father, Jake Sartain, brothers, Tommy (Sharon) Sartain, Ronnie (Sheri) Sartain, sister, Becky (Johnny) Messer, sister-in-law, Lisa (Tony) Lowe, brother-in-law, Rick Moore, nephew, Samuel (Danna) Moore, nieces, Sara (Chris) Knight, and Tamara ( Michael) Estes, and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Smokey Mountain Hospice nurses, Ashley and Patrick for the care they provided. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Hopkins and Rev. Roger Porter officiating. The body will Lie In State one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside service will follow in Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 2206, Brentwood, TN 37024-9885 in her honor.
