Paula Jean Staley, 79, of Madisonville, Texas passed away on October 30, 2024 in Madisonville, Texas. She was born to Paul Gannaway and Moezell (Adams) Gannaway in Madisonville, Texas on July 6, 1945. She was a member of the Living Truth Church in Madisonville and loved praising the Lord. Paula was a devoted homemaker and mother to her sons. She loved her family very much.
Paula was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her sons, Doug Staley of Madisonville, Texas and Jason Staley (Shanna) of Madisonville, Texas; grandchildren, Dawson Staley of Madisonville, Texas and Cooper Staley of Madisonville, Texas; one great-grandson, Weston Staley of Madisonville, Texas; brothers, Donnie Gannaway (Donna) of Madisonville, Texas and Gus Wehmeyer (Elizabeth) of Madisonville, Texas; along with numerous extended family.
A funeral service for Paula will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Lon McVeigh will officiate the service. A visitation and gathering of friends and loved ones will take place Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., also at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
