Paulette Louise Wilkins Durham, age 78, of Asheboro passed away on September 9, 2024 at Randolph Hospital.
Mrs. Durham was born in Durham, NC on July 5, 1946 to Newman and Louise Chiotakis Wilkins. Paulette was a graduate of Cary High School and received her 2-year business degree from Harbarger’s Business College in Raleigh. Paulette was a people person, loved her work as a self-employed nail technician, and was a partner with Durham Printing Company. Paulette loved horses and dogs, but her greatest love was for her family and her grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Durham; children, Jason Stancil and wife Cindy of Galveston, TX, Joshua Stancil and his partner Michele Houmis of Greensboro, Traci Durham and her partner David Pouw of Greenville, IN and Patrick Durham of Cadiz, KY; and grandchildren, Hayley Stancil, Jack Stancil, Emma DeSpain, and Brett David Hudson.
A Celebration of Paulette’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Rev. David Fambrough officiating.
