Paulette Jackson, 78, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Oakland, California. Born on September 19, 1945, in Longview, Texas, to Evia Lee and Tepoleon Jackson, Sr, she was baptized at Growing Valley Baptist Church at age 9 and was later an active member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland.

After graduating from Mary C. Womack Sr. High School in 1963, Paulette moved to Oakland and began her career at Pacific Bell Telephone Company, where she ultimately became a Project Manager. She also earned an associate degree, enhancing her career advancement. After retiring from Pacific Bell, she worked with various organizations, including T-Mobile, fully retiring in 2020.

Paulette was known for her friendly and outgoing nature, love for Christmas, and deep family bonds. She was a sports enthusiast, enjoyed writing, and served as the family historian.

She is survived by her daughter Patrice Jackson Mahoney (Joshua Mahoney), granddaughter Zakiya Mahoney, grandsons Joshua Mahoney, Jr., and Austin Mahoney, sisters Shirley Jackson, Barbara Jackson Jones, Nora Jackson, and Renee Smith, brother Albert Jackson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jerry Lee Jackson and Tepoleon Jackson, Jr., and sister Eva Jackson Hester
