Rumford -Paulette L. (Dery) Kelley, a beacon of love and generosity, left this world on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 77.Paulette passed away peacefully at RI Hospital in Providence, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on September 7, 1948, in the close-knit community of
Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was a cherished daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who brought joy to the lives of all who knew her.
The loving wife of the late William Kelley, Paulette was a devoted partner throughout their years together. She was the treasured daughter of the late Roger and Doris (Allard) Dery, who instilled in her the enduring values of family and kindness. Paulette was a proud and caring mother to her sons, Jeff Venturini and his wife Karoline of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Kevin Venturini and his wife Michelle of Scituate, RI. Her role as a grandmother to Nicole, Haley, and Anthony was one of her greatest joys, as she showered them with the same affection and warmth that she bestowed upon her entire family.
Paulette's sisters, the late Jean Smith and Sue Potter, shared in the many memories that were made throughout their lives. She was also a beloved aunt to Michael, Lisa, Susan, and Alfred, whose lives were enriched by her loving presence and unwavering support.
For over 30 years, Paulette dedicated her professional life to Firstline Products as a Jewelry Expeditor. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement in community activities, particularly those at Rumford Towers, where she resided. Paulette's participation in Bingo and various events brought her much happiness and allowed her to form lasting friendships with many of her neighbors.
Those who knew Paulette would describe her as the embodiment of loving-kindness. Her generous spirit was evident in every interaction, and her ability to nurture relationships was unparalleled. She had a talent for making others feel valued and loved, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Paulette's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of familial bonds. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends. As we bid farewell to Paulette Lillian Kelley, we celebrate a life lived with grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the ones she held dear. Her memory will be cherished forever, a comforting presence in the hearts of those who loved her.
