Mrs. Pauline Ayers Reynolds, age 97 of the Stinking Creek Community, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was a member of Baird Chapel Church of God. Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and willfully shared the bounty of her garden with generations of neighbors and friends. Her true joy was visiting and being with her family. Mrs. Reynolds was also the last surviving child to Parents, Charlie Luther and Nancy Jane Bruce Walden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by First Husband, Quinton Ayers in 1988, Second Husband, James Reynolds in 2023, Sisters, Naomi Burns, Azalee Meredith, Tilda Cupp, Bobbie Gibson, Rosie Bruce, Flossie McCullah, Dorothy McCullah, Deloris Siler, Mae Hatmaker, and Linda Geneva Tidwell, and Brothers, James Walden, Hansford Walden, Tilman Walden, Jackie Walden and Ansel Walden.
Survivors: Daughter, Teresa Blankenship and husband, Donny; Sons, Tony Ayers (Ann Finchum), and Troy Ayers (Teresa Nelson); Grandchildren, Crystal Bayles and husband Jody, Della Cutchins and husband, Coleman, Donny (Boss) Blankenship, II and wife, Heidi, Jennifer Fields and husband, Kevin, Ashley Foust and husband, Ben, and Amanda Robbins and husband, Jan, Bobby Ayers, and Brandon Ayers, and numerous Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:30 P.M at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30 P.M. with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment to follow at Melvin Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Pauline Ayers Reynolds.
