Pauline Dailey Obituary

Pauline Dailey of Anderson, Indiana, went to her heavenly home on February 11, 2026.

Pauline grew up in the Perkinsville and Lapel area and was a proud graduate of Lapel High School, Class of 1967. She retired from King’s Systems after 25 years. She took great pride in her work — She was especially delighted to tell others that she helped make the medical masks they would see in doctors’ offices and hospitals.

Pauline was always on the go and never passed up a good rummage sale, flea market, or shopping trip — especially if there was a great deal to be found. One of the most evident ways Pauline showed her love was through gift-giving. She had a knack for finding gifts that made her think of someone, and she enjoyed surprising others with those meaningful little finds. She made a habit of buying umbrella strollers whenever she found them for sale, keeping them in her van so she could offer one to any family she saw walking.

Pauline loved fishing, camping and Amish country. She enjoyed reading, word searches, crafting, and McDonald's Diet Coke with no ice. She attended North Anderson Wesleyan Church and you could often hear her listening to old country Gospel music from the other room. Her heart had a special tenderness for her “critters” — dogs, cats, and any animal she encountered. If you ever rode in a car with Pauline and a squirrel darted into the road, you learned quickly to hold on tight — she would swerve without hesitation to make sure no critter was harmed.

She is survived by her children: Travis (Tara) Cox, Tonya (Robert Lloyd) Cox, Trenton (Christina) Cox, and Trevor (Ashley) Dailey; her step-son Derek (Sherri) Dailey; beloved grandchildren: Travis Cox Jr., Dakota Cox, Madi (Timmy) Cox, Rebecca Cox, Kaycee (Levi) Pace, Colton Cox, Austin (Casey) Hudson, Josh Willmeth, Kiersteen Lentfoehr, Keagan Dailey, Laynie Dailey, Charlee Dailey, Kayson Triche, Ezekiel Dailey, and Elijah Dailey; great-grandchildren: Lucas, Christian, Jason, Oliver, Vincent, Zakrey, Grayson, Austin Jr., Shyann, Sharan, and Angela; sister Julie (Eddie) Purciful; brother Wayne (Lois) Keller; sister-in-law Marjorie Keller; best friend Mary Scherer; niece & biggest encourager, Kelly (James) Stamper; new friend & roommate, Rena Short; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Patricia Keller; twin brother, Paul Calvert; and siblings Dan Fox, Janet Daggett, Larry Calvert, Charles Calvert and Dan Keller.

A memorial service will be held on March 8 at 3:00 p.m. at North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240 N., Anderson, Indiana 46012. Memorial contributions may be made to North Anderson Wesleyan Church.

Pauline will be remembered for her love of family, her determination to protect all of God’s creatures, and the joy she found in life’s simple treasures. Although we will miss her, we know she is with Jesus and we will see her again one day.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northview Health and Living for their care for Pauline.
