Pauline Moore Dillard, 89, of 1705 Skylyn Drive, formerly of Washington Road, died Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born October 7, 1918, in Gloucester, Transylvania County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charley J. and Mary M. Owen Moore and the wife of the late Loyd Carlisle (L. C.) Dillard, Jr. She was Director of the Kindergarten at Routh Memorial Presbyterian Church for 28 years where she was a very active charter member. She was currently a member of Morningside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class and the Golden Tones. Survivors include two sons, Gerald (Jerry) Dillard and his wife Carolyn G., and J. K. (Kenny) Dillard and his wife Janet K., all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Desdamona and Forrest White of Richmond, VA, Cassandra and Andy Bogan of West Springs, Cam and Amy Dillard of Raleigh, NC, Heather and the Rev. Dr. Ryan Pack of Hendersonville, NC, and Mamie and Kevin Boyter of Spartanburg; great-grandchildren, Haley, Austin, and Kerrigan White of Richmond, VA, Bailey, Ginny, Victoria, and Micah Pack of Hendersonville, NC, Mary Cameron and Nathan Dillard of Raleigh, NC, John Bogan of West Springs, and Kirkland and Andrew Boyter of Spartanburg; a sister, Mary Lou Pressley Brown of Rosman, NC; and a brother, Charles Lee Moore and his wife Peggy of Huntsville, AL. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Moore Morrow. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Floyd�s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Floyd�s Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely and the Rev. Dr. Ryan Pack. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church Building Fund, 897 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
