NORTHPORT – Pauline Jones Jester, 94, of Northport, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Northport Highlands with her family at her side.
Pauline was born October 7, 1930 in Wilton, Arkansas the daughter of Seaborn and Sevier "Bertie" (Taylor) Jones. On March 19, 1953 at Ft. Benning, Georgia she married Douglas B. Jester who preceded her in death in September of 2000.
She and her husband lived in Georgia, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. She worked mostly as a banker, retiring as Vice President of Operations of Hulbert State Bank. Pauline was dedicated to her family, making sure that her children had the opportunity to participate in every activity that interested them. She was ever sensible and prepared for what life brought her. Pauline was always civil and polite, acquiring many good friends. Those who survived her will miss her.
Pauline is survived by her three children, Douglas (Colleen) Jester Jr., Nancy (Robert) Cathey, Teresa (Greg) Cox; a sister, Novella (Eldon) McClung; a brother in law, Sam Rice, a nephew, Tom Rice; her grandchildren, John Jester, Anna (Zac) Barry-Jester, Colin (Hannah) Barry-Jester, Michelle (Daniel) Estrada, Robin (Chase) Holbrook, Elaine (Daniel) Moore, Hannah (Dan) Lonsdale, Molly (Christian) Collins; her great grandchildren, Donovan Estrada, Rohan Estrada, Harlee Holbrook, Hayes Holbrook, Slade Moore, Elam Moore, Lane Moore, Lincoln Lonsdale, Tyce Collins, Trey Collins, and Aurora Jester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Sr., her parents, Seaborn and Bertie, and her siblings, Seaborn "Buck" (Jean) Jones Jr., Maxine (Charlie Ed) Williams, Martha (Doug) McCombs, and Mozelle "Sissy" (Tommy) Spriggs.
Cremation has taken place and private family burial in Wilton, Arkansas will be held at a later date.
