Pauline "Mickey" E. Mitchell (nee Theissen), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Mitchell; cherished daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Theissen; devoted mother of Janice James, Lachelle (Jon) Mittler, Jeff Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, and the late Randy Mitchell; loving grandmother of Christopher Henderson, Christine Garcia, Donna (Tyler) Perkins, Kelly James, Nathan (Jenny) James, and Paul James; treasured great-grandmother of Bobby Garcia, Chase Perkins, Abby James, and the late Selena Garcia; dear sister of the late LaVerne (Joseph) Primeau, the late Evelyn (William) Wehmeyer, the late Muriel (Richard) Pfaff, the late Verlee (Irvin) Wessler, the late Darlene Eckler, the late Zoanna (Melvin) Orf, the late Vera Theissen, the late Louis (Loretta) Theissen, and the late Harold Theissen.
Mickey dedicated her working years as a talented seamstress. She was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, where she generously volunteered and was an active member of the Ladies Sodality. In her free time, Mickey enjoyed reading, gambling and bowling, but above all else, she treasured spending time with her family- especially during holidays and special gatherings. Having loved ones together brought her great joy. Mickey will be remembered for her calm and gentle spirit, bringing peace to those around her. Mickey was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mickey's name to St. Peters Catholic Church.
