It is with unending love and heartfelt sorrow that our family announce the passing of our
matriarch, Pauline Patricia Palarchie, affectionately known as Ms. P, Mama Pauline, Grandma,
and Auntie, who transitioned from this life to meet her savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, August
16, 2025 at 9:36 am in Atlanta, Georgia. She was 77 years old.
Pauline Patricia Palarchie was born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 24, 1948 to her late parents -
Theophilus Lucius Palarchie and Eulalee Myers. She was the second child of three children
from their union. Her formative years were spent between Dry River District in the parish of St.
Elizabeth and Kingston, Jamaica. She was loved and nurtured by her mother, Eulalee, who
taught her to love and trust God, pray, and to recite her life psalm, Psalm 27. These virtues and
memories were what sustained her throughout her childhood and life when at the tender age of
ten, she experienced the passing of her mom, Eulalee. These virtues of love of God, prayers,
and humility, she faithfully passed onto her children, grandchildren, and those in her care and
sphere of influence as relatives, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
Pauline attended Glen Stewart Primary school where she developed a love of learning and a
desire to make something of her life. Unfortunately, the lack of support and economic resources
stunted her educational career at the primary level. Despite these obstacles, Pauline
relentlessly attempted to better herself, taking various courses and classes, as well as working
in numerous fields and careers as a clerk, housekeeper, governess, seamstress, conductress,
factory worker, storekeeper/merchant, homecare aide and companion. She embodied the
maxim, "If there is anything worthwhile doing, it is worth doing well," and gave the best of herself
to her tasks and responsibilities. From her, her children learned the value of education, the
pursuit of wisdom, resilience, and strength.
Pauline was a woman of simplicity, sincerity and sacrifice. She was a generous person who
gave the best of herself and belongings to others. Pauline looked for the good in others and
often stated the saying by James Truslow Adams, "There is so much good in the worst of us,
and so much bad in the best of us, that it ill behooves any of us to find fault with the rest of us."
She had a deep respect for God that translated into respect for others, as a conductress, she
often brought home many children who were left on the road, her tender heart could not allow
them to spend the night, vulnerable to all kinds of dangers, on the road.
Pauline loved children and was most joyful in their presence. Though never published, she was
a prolific writer of poetry, songs and other musings. Her children enjoyed the result of her
creative endeavors in sewing as throughout their childhood, they paraded in her distinctive line
of clothing wear and well-tailored apparel for many everyday events, and important occasions.
Pauline is survived by her children: Sons - Ralston "Peter" Walfall, Charleston "Hastings" Rowe,
and Andre Royal Small; Daughters - Jennifer Farr-Williams, Jacinth Robotham, and Christine
Farr; Stepdaughter - Petal Farr. Grandchildren: Xavier and Bobbiann Walfall; Teru Dale Rowe,
Ashleigh Obeng, Kimberly Alexander, Arihannah Llewellyn, Kathrina Robotham, Tamar
Robotham, Indira Robotham, Samuel Robotham, Nickolaus Jennings, Jodiann Jennings,
Siobhan Small, Adrianna Small, Mark Smith and Michael Smith. Great grandchildren: Arianna
Walfall, Xavier Walfall Jr., Akeel Palmer, Coniya Aiken, and Azariah Casey.
Pauline joins in eternal rest her parents, Theophilus Lucius Palarchie, Eulalee Myers, her
younger brother who died at birth, and her sister, Vivienne Palarchie who preceded her in death.
Though greatly missed, the family releases our matriarch, Pauline Patricia Palarchie to the
Father's love and presence as we know as believers "[Yes] we have confident and hopeful
courage and are pleased rather to be away from home out of the body and be at home with the
Lord." 2 Cor. 5: 8 AMPC.
In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, the family is asking that donations be made in her honor to
Food for the Poor as a tribute to her life of simplicity, sincerity, and sacrifice. We want to raise
