Pauline Padezan Petrocelli, Age 90 of Pitcairn, after a short illness, on March 24, 2024, just weeks after her 90th birthday. Pauline was a 70 year resident of Pitcairn. Born on March 3, 1934, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Anthony Petrocelli. She was the youngest child of Marko and Milka Padezan. Deceased brothers and Sisters Millie Hazi (James), Ann Liptak (Dan), Milos Padezan (Violet), George Padezan (Dorothy), Mary Saula (Sam). Survived by her loving son Anthony and his wife Marcy, loving grandchildren Lisa Petrocelli-Tanner and her husband Kevin and Michael Petrocelli and his wife Lynn. Proud greatgrandmother, Nana, to Emily Tanner, Kylie Tanner and Scarlett Petrocelli. Also survived by her loving sister and best friend Angie Bianchi (Bill). Many nieces and nephews.
Known to her Serbian family as Aunt Duci, Pauline moved to Pitcairn shortly after marrying Anthony on July 16, 1955. She spent the next 30 years sharing her house on 8th Street with her mother in law Fiorina Petrocelli and the next 20 years with Anthony until his death in 2005. Her last 20 years were spent living alone where she was self-sufficient for the most part. Her family kept her busy. Her working life included waitressing, cleaning, bartending, cooking, babysitting and best of all working closely with her sisters and nieces at Ann's Diner on route 48 in Monroeville. She was a special person loved by all.
Special thank you to all of the nurses, aids and staff that took care of Pauline the last 3 months at Abode Care in Monroeville.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 26, from 2pm to 8pm. Additional visitation will be on Wednesday, March 27, from 9am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Father Stefan Djoric officiating. Pauline will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville, Pa. Please visit us at; www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
