Pauline Lois Ruddock

Pauline Lois Ruddock passed away peacefully at her home in Simi Valley, California on June 26, 2025. Born in Detroit, Michigan, April 7, 1930 to George West And Marjory Hoban, she lived to the remarkable age of 95. She was preceded in death by Walter, her husband of 66 years and survived by her daughter Laurie and four sons Steven, Timothy, Daniel and Phillip. Her extended family includes six siblings, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. She and Walter made their home in the San Fernando Valley and while raising five children she pursued a life of artistic creativity. An accomplished painter and craftswoman, in 1972 she founded the Paintin' Place Art Studio in Encino and for 44 years, taught a variety of student the ancient art of painting with oils. She amassed an extensive body of work: still lifes, landscapes and portraits often inspired by her own photography. Pauline was a woman of faith with a lifetime passion for intercessory prayer. She was excited for a new life in the heavens with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
