It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Paulito "Pelos" Farias, who departed this life on January 18, 2026, in Port Arthur, Texas. Born on February 23, 1981, in Galveston, Texas, Pelos was a man of many cherished talents and a vibrant presence that will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
Pelos dedicated five years of his life to a career in construction and also worked as a warehouse foreman. His hard work and commitment were a testament to his strong character. Known for his lively spirit, he became the life of any gathering, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had an infectious smile that not only lit up rooms but also warmed the hearts of everyone he encountered.
Family meant everything to Pelos. He was a devoted son to his mother, Estella Farias, and father, Esteban Maldonado. As a loving father, he took pride in his children: daughter, Lluvia Garcia and sons, Elyur Farias and his wife, Brittney, Issaq Farias, and Paulito Farias, Jr. His role as a grandparent to Alullah Farias brought him immense joy and fulfillment, and he cherished every moment spent with her.
Pelos was not only a family man but also a treasured brother, to Martin Farias and wife, Maria; Diego Farias and wife, Vanessa; and Enrique Rodriguez and wife, Yesenia. He was surrounded by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends each carrying fond memories of their time with him—a reminder of his generous nature and ability to care for others.
Outside of work and family, Pelos enjoyed dancing, listening to music, wearing stylish shoes and hats, and participating in vibrant family cookouts. He was a “Momma's Boy” at heart, embracing the warmth and love of his family. His unyielding devotion to loved ones and his enthusiastic zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
