Payton Eileen Sutton

Sutton, Payton of Barnhart, Missouri, was born April 17, 2005 in Creve Coeur, Missouri to Crystal Sutton and James Lucas. She entered into rest Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Payton is survived by her mother Crystal Sutton and father James Lucas (Missy Behrns); her siblings Jaelyn Sutton, Christian and Justice Ashby, Dylan and Amelia Lucas; grandparents Eileen Fahy, Steve Sutton, and James Mueller. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Christine Eoff (Mueller) and grandfather Lonnie Lucas and cousin Levi Leverett. Payton shared a special bond with her grandparents Vernis and Perry Eoff. Her dog, Marley, meant the world to her.
Payton was a cheerleader, who graduated a semester early in 2023 from Windsor High School. She was a Walmart employee who had recently been pre-approved for her first home loan. She lived fearlessly and loved with the same passion. She is cherished by her wide circle of friends who admired her tenacity and heart. Though her time with us was cut short, Payton's impact was profound. She taught us to live boldly, love fiercely, and never shy away from our truths. She is our "Mysterious Coincidence." Her story is far from over. "Destiny is all!"
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.,
Funeral Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30,
Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family or directly to Chapel Hill for funeral expenses.
