Paz Abejo Obituary
Born in August 8, 1939, Paz has been a resident of the USA since immigrating from the Philippines in 1972. She worked as an EDP Auditor for SEPTA until she retired.
She expressed her love in many ways, most memorably through her food. Her pancit was legendary, and even when her health made it difficult, she insisted on cooking for family and friends. She found joy around the mahjong table and in every gathering where laughter echoed.
Predeceased by her parents, Vicente and Amelia Mayor Umali; her husband, Rodrigo Abejo; and siblings, Oscar and Luz, Paz is survived by her 3 devoted children, Noel Abejo (Ersie), Joel Abejo (Linda) and Michael Abejo (Nicky); dear siblings, Lourdes, Teddy (Jess) and Lilia (Alex); 4 loving grandchildren, Dana (Robert), Lauren (Dan), Jade and Lee; and 3 cherished great grandchildren, Jam, Mia and Sophia. Paz is also survived by her extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes' Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
