Pearl F. Devor

Pearl F. Devor, 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Brookline Manor in Mifflintown. Born on January 7, 1939 in Petersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Miller and Winifred (Harmon) Miller. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Chester L. Devor on December 19, 2021 as well as siblings; Barbara "Mickey" Baker, Bruce "Dick" Miller, Dorothy Bonsell, Jane Walker, Ella Cresswell and one son Chester "Lee" Breon and companion, Jackie Hosler, as well as a granddaughter, Chanda and one great grandson. Pearl is survived by her children, Richard L. Breon and his wife Linda of Cross Keys, Patricia K. Ritzman and her husband Steve, Cathy A. Vogel and her companion Douglas Hatter, Amy M. Hambright, John W. Jones and his wife Kathy, all of Mifflintown, Gary Devor and his wife Chininia of Falling Waters, WV, Tammy J. Neil of Chambersburg, Joe R. Breon and his wife Kandi of Mount Pleasant Mills, Jim A. Breon and his wife Wanda Leister of Spruce Hill, and Lori W. Campbell and her husband John of East Waterford; twenty seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; also a brother, Robert Miller. Pearl worked at Locust Grove retirement Village in Mifflin as a Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She loved to cook and was famous for her fried chicken. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Union Memorial Gardens in Mifflintown. There will be a viewing held on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown.
