Buck Duncan Obituary
Buck Duncan passed peacefully on January 2nd, 2026, surrounded by his family at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with stage 4 lung cancer.
A man of integrity, kindness, and quiet wisdom, he rose from humble beginnings to build a respected construction career rooted in craftsmanship, loyalty, and trust. He loved music, laughter, simple pleasures, and above all, people, mentoring many and lifting others throughout his life.
Devoted to his wife, Tami, of 50 plus years; his children Rachel Field, Ginnie Duncan, Katie and Son-in-Law Marky Ardisana; his grandchildren, and extended family. He leaves a lasting legacy of generosity, humility, and love.
Join us as we celebrate Buck's life on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Rio Bravo Brewing Company, 1912 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Feel free to wear your favorite band shirt and bring along your acoustic instruments. A cash bar and food will be available, and children are welcome to attend.

I haven't seen Buck in many decades. My memories of him are of him sitting on the couch playing his guitar. He was quiet back then (early 70's). I used to be a part of the group with Sean Olivas and Greg Wagner. I accidentally came across this. My condolences to the family. Buck was a talented and very special human being.
