Michael Duncan

Michael Ray Duncan, age 62, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Nashville, TN. Mr. Duncan was born in Springfield, IL to his late parents James Duncan and Judith Dye Duncan.

He worked as a claim supervisor for Country Financial. In his free time, he enjoyed being on a boat in the lake or anything dealing with outdoors. He enjoyed cooking on his Green Egg and spending time with his children and grandchildren. People were drawn to him and he could fill a room – everyone loved him and you could feel the love he had for other people. Mr. Duncan was a genuine person and was a born leader.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Stephen Duncan; sister-in-law, Angie Duncan.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lynn Galbreath Duncan; son, Landon Duncan; daughter, Julia Cregger (Brian); brothers, Jim Duncan (Stephanie) and Kirk Duncan (Jollon); sister, Justine Dillon (Neal); grandchildren, Isaiah Vaughn, Olivia Vaughn, Emary Kinsey, Cameron Kinsey, Tucker Kinsey, Jude Michael Kinsey, Cora Kinsey; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, from 12:00pm until service time at 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN.
