Pearl Habashi, age 101, of Sherwood Oaks, went to Heaven on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Anna Widdowson; wife of the late Norman Yeckel for four years; Pearl later married her loving husband of 67 years, Safwat Habashi; she is the loving sister of Thelma Gross and deceased brothers Howard and Vincent Widdowson; beloved aunt of Valerie Gross Lynn and William D. Gross; she is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and relatives residing in the States, Canada, and Egypt. Pearl loved her nursing career, having worked at a Mission Hospital in Egypt for three years, taught in the World Health Organization in Egypt and she volunteered in several Pittsburgh Hospitals. After retiring in 1980, Pearl enjoyed encouraging many missionaries, emailing and praying for them as a member of the Memorial Park Presbyterian Church for many years. Services and Interment were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the Mission budget of the Memorial Park Church: 8800 Peebles Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. Arrangements made by the Bock Funeral Home, Glenshaw.
