Pearl Groves Jordan

Pearl Groves Jordan, age 102, of Front Royal, Virginia, returned to her heavenly home on March 30, 2026.

Born in Massie’s Corner, Rappahannock County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Maggie Groves.

Pearl was a devoted member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church for 76 years, where she faithfully served in numerous leadership roles. Her life was marked by unwavering faith, dedicated service to her church and community, and a deep commitment to nurturing and uplifting children.

Pearl leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Giselle Jordan Savage (Harvey) of Toledo, Ohio, and Brevetta Jordan of Front Royal, Virginia; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Brevious Jordan, Sr., her parents; three sons, several siblings, and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 240 Church Street, Front Royal, VA on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Brevetta Jordan officiating.

Family Visitation at 12 noon at the church.

Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Front Royal, VA
