Pearline Vaughn

Born: December 9, 1941 | Died: October 12, 2025

Pearline Beatrice Davis Vaughn, age 83, a native of Meigs County and longtime resident of Meigs and McMinn County, passed away on October 12, 2025. She was a longtime member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Bryan and Artie Chandler Davis, a brother: Ray Davis, and her sisters: Joann Richeson and Frances Wattenbarger.

Pearline is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: Leuty Vaughn of Athens, daughters: Paula Vaughn of Athens and Lisa (Todd) Barham of Athens, a son: Travis Vaughn of Athens, a brother: Melvin Davis of Cleveland, Ohio, grandchildren: Logan Vaughn, Blake Barham and Aubrey Barham, along with many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Ziegler Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow funeral services at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Ziegler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Pearline Beatrice Davis Vaughn.
