EDINBURG - Pedro Cabrera, 86, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Cabrera and Maria Rivera; four children, Jose Antonio Cabrera, Leticia Gorola, Alicia Cabrera and Victoria Cabrera.
Mr. Cabrera is survived by his five children, Maria Esther (Joel) Gutierrez; Maria De La Luz Cabrera, Jose Luis (Rocio) Cabrera, Juan Carlos (Candelaria) Cabrera, Pedro Gabriel (Saida) Cabrera; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. talk Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
