Pedro De Leon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pedro Armando De León Cariaga, who left this world on March 22, 2025, at the age of 80 in Houston, Texas. Born on November 15, 1944, in Congregación Garza, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Pedro lived a life full of hard work, generosity, and devotion to his family and community.
Pedro dedicated 26 years of his life working as a technician at Gulf States Toyota before embarking on a new journey with his wife, Alma, in their family business, Alma's Cakes, where he spent another 24 years serving others with passion and commitment.
He was a man of many talents and interests-an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a skilled carpenter and mechanic, but most importantly, a man who found joy in helping others. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
Pedro is survived by his loving wife, Alma Valdez de De León; his children, Pedro De León Jr. and his wife Karen Lewis, Myriam De León and her husband Luis Perez Briones, and Carlos De León and his wife Alicia Villaseñor de De León. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Raquelin De León, and grandson, Gregory De León. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren Ashley Renee De Leon, Jabez De León, and Ulani Perez-De León. He is also survived by his siblings Claudia De León, Elvia Salinas de De León, and Hilda De León Gonzalez.
