Pedro "Pete" G. Olivo of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 72. He lost his battle to cancer and gave his love to his family until he took his very last breath. A wonderful husband and father who was devoted to his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ. Pete lived his life that honored Him above all else in everything he did and is now rejoicing in Heaven!

He was born on December 3, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas to Simona (Garzes) Olivo and Juan S. Olivo. He married and dearly loved his wife, Maria Adela Centeno on June 5, 1976. They were blessed with four children and many grandchildren during their 49 years of marriage.

Pete moved to Kosciusko County in 1973 and worked for 46 years at R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw. A man who was a hard worker his entire life, an honest and dependable provider, and a perfect role model to his family. Showing by example how to be a responsible and supportive husband and father who prioritized his family's well-being above all else. Putting their needs first for their happiness and security. He dearly loved his family and loved to make sure his children and grandchildren were provided for. Pete was a selfless and thoughtful man, who would rather give than receive. He enjoyed bringing lunch to his family, sharing his knowledge and life-skills to everyone and he LOVED playing pool at Rex's Rendezvous in Warsaw with his family and friends. Pete was known as the Candy Man who enjoyed giving out chocolate to anyone he would meet and of course the wonderful sound of his voice excitedly yelling "Bonzai!" to his grandchildren.

Pete was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw, where he will be missed by his church family and will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Adela Olivo (Warsaw, IN); son, Lorenzo (Tara) Olivo (Lafayette, IN); three daughters, Marina Rodriguez (Warsaw, IN); Maribel (Nain) Rios (Warsaw, IN); and Isabel (Humberto) Malagon (Warsaw, IN). Also surviving are his beloved fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; as well as three brothers, Juan Olivo (Milford, IN); Raul Olivo (San Antonio, TX); Lorenzo (Mary) Olivo (San Antonio, TX); four sisters, Terry (Ramiro) Rivera (Houston, TX); Linda (Eddie) Hernandez (San Antionio, TX); Cynthia Olivo (San Antonio, TX); and Simona (Jose) Flores (Goshen, IN). He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Rose and two sisters, Sara Mello and Beatrice Perez.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.

Pedro's life will be celebrated with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, Indiana and celebrated by Father Fernando Jimenez. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.

************************************************************
