Pedro Rivera, age 89, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at AdventHealth East Orlando Hospital.

He was born on June 29, 1936 in Caguas, PR, son to his late parents, Lorenzo Rivera and Maria Rodriguez. On September 4, 1993, he was married to his wife, Raquel Alicea.

In addition to his wife of 32 years, Raquel, Pedro is survived by three daughters, Annamarie Guynup, Johanna Ramos and her husband, Ambiorix, and Maria I. Ramos; two brothers, Jose and Antonio Rivera; eight grandchildren, Jessica Griessemer, Gregory Griessemer, Kristi Sundal, Jeremy Peter Rivera, Jasinez Chacon, Thaiz M. De Jesus, Yamila I. Uribe, and Ezabel Torres; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Brenda Tallent; and his two sisters, Maria Dolores Rivera and Basilia Rivera.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Dr, Orlando, on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:30 am.

Inurnment and committal services with full military honors will follow on Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pedro's memory may be given to the veteran's charity of your choice.
